Instead of a late afternoon walk, Ted and I had a late morning one. The only noticeable difference were the number of butterfly species seen. As for Autumn migrants the only warblers I found were 4 Chiffchaffs in Broadcroft Quarry Lane and a single bird in the Lower Horse Paddock.
Whilst I was looking for Gorse Shieldbugs in the butterfly reserve (I didn't find any), I stumbled into two Common Lizards basking in the sun.
