It was another very sunny day, though that brisk north-easterly kept the temperature down. First time I have had to wear a jacket apart from when it rained at Radipole earlier in the week.
Not too many highlights on my local patch with 4 House Martin, 2 Swallow, 2 Meadow Pipit and 8 Chiffchaff, being the only migrants noted. Two Greenfinches in Broadcroft Quarry Lane were the first I have seen here in quite awhile.

I'm not totally convinced, but I believe this is a brown form of Meadow Grasshopper.
This is not going to end well. And it didn't! Ted was covered in bits of bramble, seeds and other sticky plants.
