Old Quarry Lane, Wakeham Meadows, Wakeham Wildlife Site, Wakeham Railway Cuttings and Bumpers Lane

It was another late walk, but this time in much calmer conditions. Very few highlights with just one Chiffchaff heard in Old Quarry Lane again, and the return of 30+ Chaffinches & Goldfinches along Wakeham Railway Cuttings to the east of the road bridge.

When the sun is out, Blue Tits look very pretty.

One of the dozens of Chaffinches along the railway cuttings to the east of the road bridge.

Also with them were dozens of Goldfinches..........

................feeding on the Common Teasel heads.
