Chesil Cove

Another day and another storm. This time not a French named storm, as it was 3 days ago, but Storm Antoni named by the Met Office. So before the worse bit of the storm hit us, I went back to Chesil Cove to see if anything had been blown in. More on Storm Antoni Here.

Birds Recorded:
19+ Black-headed Gull
2 Mediterranean Gull
20+ Herring Gull
4 Great Black-backed Gull

A mix of Black-headed Gulls and Herring Gulls

An adult Herring Gull looking rather menacing.

These are adult Great Black-backed Gulls following..........

A fourth Great Black-backed Gull was on top of the beach until.........

...........it decided to join the others.

Storm Antoni is on its way!!

This brave sea angler was doing quite well despite the raging sea. He had 4lb Cod, a Mackerel and a Pouting.
