Old Quarry Lane and Wakeham Meadows

Thank goodness there was a break in the weather today, as this Summer has become a complete washout. So any break with this miserable weather is a chance of a walk.

The added bonus with today's break was that the sun came out for a short time, and with it quite a few butterflies and bees flying about.

Hmm. I'm unsure on this bumblebee. Possibly a Buff-tailed Bumblebee (Bombus terrestris)
