It was a very late walk today, as it was pretty warm again for Ted. In fact it was that late, the only butterfly I saw was a Large White. Unsurprisingly there were lots of moths about and for the second day running I came across the Yellow-girdled Brusheye, in the same area as yesterday.
And I came across a new fly for my Portland List. A Brown Sieve-winged Snailkiller (Euthycera fumigata)
The only Autumn migrants noted were a Blackcap and a Chiffchaff/Willow Warbler calling.
