It was a very late afternoon visit to the south of the island, with the intention of walking around the Obs, Quarry, Hut Fields and The Bill, before heading up to the Higher Lighthouse and Fields to see if there were any Short-eared Owls about.
The first part of the walk was pretty good, with 3 Turnstones and several Rock Pipits seen, though it was disappointing not see any Purple Sandpipers about.
The second half of the walk was a bit of a downer with no SEO's seen, but at least I did record 6 Stonechats, but not much else.
