After a very busy day prepping for Christmas Day, I eventually managed a walk around the block with Ted.
All was going well, until we got to the Lower Horse Paddock, which is when the heavens broke and we got a good soaking. At least we were nearly home.

4 Meadow Pipit - in the butterfly reserve
1 Pied Wagtail - in the upper Horse paddock
2 Stonechat - both in the upper Horse paddock
2 Goldcrest - along Bumpers Lane

Here the male has just realised his mate has flown off and follows her.
Just the one Pied Wagtail seen this afternoon.
It served me right for getting wet, the warning signs were there, which I chose to ignore.
