Bumpers Lane, Broadcroft Quarry Lane, Broadcroft Butterfly Reserve and Lower Horse Paddock

It was another sunny day and a few degrees warmer than of late. Main highlights this afternoon were 5 Lapwing in the Lower Horse paddock. The first I have ever seen at this location.

There was quite a gathering of Magpies in the Lower Horse paddock. There are nine here and two more just out of shot. And apparently seeing eleven Magpies is for health. Try as I could, I just couldn't see a twelfth bird for wealth. Though I'm quite happy with health!!


Ted:

Instead of running in a straight line, Ted has now decided that running towards me is more fun.
