Wakeham

By the looks of the weather forecast, this heatwave is about to come to an abrupt end by the weekend. However it was still with us today, with temperatures soaring into the high twenties again.

Main highlight was watching 4 Swallows heading south over the cottage.

What an odd looking House Sparrow.

It's a juvenile male House Sparrow, with a very flat head. Odd.

A Mint Moth (Pyrausta aurata) on the Lemon Balm.

Today there were 3 Common Green Capsids and a Swollen-thighed Beetle in the Gladiolus flower.
