The Moth Trap went out last night and with the night time temperature hitting 20.1°C it was a pretty warm and uncomfortable night. Not that the moths minded, or anything else for that matter, as there were flies, hoverflies, lacewings, ichneumon wasps and beetles all in the trap.
Unfortunately and despite me switching the trap off at 4:00am this morning a lot of the moths had been predated by the beetles.
Well here goes and I know for sure there will be quite a few I'm going to get stuck on. At the moment I'm not doing too bad and already I have 5 New Species for my Portland Moth List. I'm not giving up, but I am taking an admin break, and "I will be back" to continue.

Update: 21 Jul 21 - Well I did come back and managed to find a few more, but definitely not as many as my good friends Ed Wilson and Nigel Sluman found. Thank you both. All I've got to do now is add the Latin names and Common names to the new additions. That will be another day.
Update: 22 Jul 21 - 85 Species, 11 Lifers and several unknowns.
