Common Dronefly (Eristalis tenax)

This is an Orange-belted Hoverfly (Xylota segnis) and a first for the garden. And just like yesterday's Plain-faced Dronefly (Eristalis arbustorum), this species of hoverfly is also one I have found near Rufus Castle. They must both be "migrating" north.

2 Swollen-thighed Beetle (Oedemera nobilis)
2 Common Green Capsid (Lygocoris pabulinus)

Ted:

A very hot dog, which is why today Ted had gravy bone biscuits frozen in ice and Benji had cucumber chunks frozen in ice. I was definitely the dogs best friend.
