Wakeham

In the back garden today my first Goldfinches on the feeders plus the resident Robin. Overhead there were a few Siskins, Meadow Pipits and Pied Wagtails heading south.

A Silverfish (Lepisma saccharina) was on the outside wall in the courtyard. I hadn't realised how big they grow.

Always nice to have new birds on the feeders.

These Goldfinches are certainly enjoying the sunflowers

Looks like I'm going to have to top this one up.

The resident Robin is frequent visitor to the feeders now. Even in the rain.....

A Silverfish on the outside wall. Not something you want in your house. Interesting reading here on what Silverfish eat or not in some cases!!
