The drizzle came down this afternoon, but having been inspired by the Greenish Warbler at the Ob's I decided to have a walk up Bumpers Lane and around the quarries. Lots of Chiffchaffs and Willow Warblers about, and at least 3 Blackcaps. Also seen a small party of tits, both Great and Blue moving along the hedgerows, where there were also Blackbirds and a Song Thrush feeding.
By Broadcroft Quarry at least 80 Linnets. Overhead a Peregrine and two Pied Wagtails.

Great views of my first ever Greenish Warbler in the Sycamore Trees at the Ob's this lunchtime. The call was a give away, certainly more higher pitched than a Chiffchaff and more so than a Willow Warbler.
Also quite a few Swallows passing overhead including a "brown" backed individual with a fork tail -leucistic maybe!
