Wakeham

It was a pretty busy day today, with a trip to the vets for Ted's annual check-up, followed by a visit to Dorchester Hospital for a chat with one of the Dentists about further appointments there, and then it was a trip to Curry's to choose a replacement TV, as ours had given up the ghost after only 11 months of use.

So the only bit of birding I did was from the passenger seat of Dawn's car where the only birds of note were dozens of Swallows making their way south over Portland Harbour.

However I did manage 10 minutes in the back garden before we left, and watched a good passage of 200+ Wood Pigeons heading south.

Heading in the opposite direction were 12+ Meadow Pipits and 5 Pied Wagtails.

The only bird missing today was the "long-staying" Chiffchaff, which I suspect joined the masses passing through yesterday.
