Lower Horse Paddock, Upper Horse Paddock, Broadcroft Butterfly Reserve, Broadcroft Quarry Lane and Bumpers Lane

It was a bit of run than a walk, as I was summoned by Dawn to help tidy up the caravan, before our next guests arrive.

Only real highlights were 2 Chiff/Will seen and heard briefly, but not close enough to ID 100%.

There were also a lot of Common Wasps about, with many seen along Broadcroft Quarry Lane.

A slightly battered Speckled Wood

A Meadow Brown blending in with the leaf litter.

Another butterfly that has seen better days was this Red Admiral.

Wasps and Gall Wasps Recorded:
50+ Common Wasp (Vespula vulgaris)
