Well it might not have been the brightest of days, but it was still fairly warm. The sun eventually put in an appearance around 5:00pm, so it was a good time to go for a walk with Ted to see what was about.
There weren't too many highlights, as the sun had only just come out, but I did manage to see 10 butterfly species.
On the moth front there was no sign of any Six-Spot Burnet moths, but I did come across quite a few Yellow-spot Tortrix and 3 Red-clover Case-bearers.
The only odd thing on the walk was that I only found one beetle, a male Swollen-thighed Beetle!!

This Red-clover Case-bearer (Coleophora deauratella) was deep into the hedge.
At least one of the three Red-clover Case-bearer (Coleophora deauratella) was easier to photograph.
