It was another day spent in the garden and well, we really do need some rain soon. Quite a few plants have died and many more are on the way out. It' really is a real shame.
Main highlights were a fly-by Chalk Hill Blue, and both a Common Dronefly and Dead Head Hoverfly seen.

A couple of days ago there were several Common Furrow-bees (Lasioglossum calceatum) in the back garden. Today in the same location were a few of these Bronze Furrow Bees (Halictus tumulorum)
