It was a short break from working in the back garden today, though I was back in the afternoon, doing more work. And I had helper, it was Dawn's day off and we managed to do a fair bit of weeding etc.
Main highlight on my walk was seeing a fritillary butterfly. Having seen a Silver-washed Fritillary a week or so back, could it have been another one!!
A few more warblers about with both Common Whitethroat and Chiffchaff seen and heard by the "bump".
A Hummingbird Hawk-moth was good to see, though it didn't stop for a photo.. And there were dozens of Yellow-spot Tortrix moths flitting about.
