Weymouth Beach and Newtons Cove

It was a day at the seaside with friends of ours from Swindon and a very good excuse to bring the Kayak along with us.

I went out a couple of times, with the longest trip around to Newtons Cove. En route I came across a pair of Common Terns, 2 Sandwich Terns and a Marbled White butterfly flying across the water towards Nothe Forte.

Overhead on the beach were singles of Swift and Grey Wagtail.
