Old Quarry Lane and Wakeham Meadow

Our walk this morning was a little later than it has been for the past few days. So instead of an extended walk, Ted and I kept to the short walk with plenty of shade, rest stops and water of course.

No real highlights, but I now know what a White-jawed Yellow-face Bee (Hylaeus confusus) looks like, as I came across another one today.

Ted
:

One of Ted's favourite trees................

.............where he can get a bit of shade.

Alternatively there is always a nice cool spot for a rest break along one of the tracks.

And there's always a drink when he wants one.
