Old Quarry Lane and Wakeham Meadow

Wow what a change in the weather. Once the weather front, which brought in the thunderstorms yesterday, had passed through it was a much fresher feel today. And it was a lot cloudier.

Highlights today were two Common Lizards I came across in the upper Meadow. This is the first time I have come across them before. Even more reason not to build houses at this location.

With the cooler and slightly darker conditions there were quite a few moths about including a Six-belted Clearwing (Bembecia ichneumoniformis)

Note: Just a few photos tonight. More to be uploaded on Thursday.
