It wasn't my intention to walk to Fancy's Farm and back to the Grove, but as I was at the top end of the island I thought I would have a look and see what was about..
Main highlights on another very sunny day were 2 Chiffchaffs and a Willow Warbler feeding in amongst the Alexanders.
It wasn't just the birds in and around the Alexanders, but many bees, wasps, hoverflies and flies, including my first Plain-faced Dronefly of the year.
Just the one butterfly seen, a Speckled Wood.
