The Fleet, Ferrybridge and Portland Harbour

On the way back from the Weymouth vets with Ted ( it was just a post-op check-up on his teeth, which were fine), we dropped into Ferrybridge to see what was about.

Having seen my first Swallow and House Martin at Radipole, where we had parked up earlier, it was great to see hundreds more streaming along Chesil Beach and over Portland Harbour, when we parked up at Ferrybridge.

Other birds of interest were at least 6 Sandwich Terns and my first 3 Little Terns of the year, all heading towards their nesting site on Chesil Beach.
