Little Owl calling again at 4:40am this morning and then at 10:40pm tonight.

Broadcroft Quarry Lane, Broadcroft Butterfly Reserve and Lower Horse Paddock

I had a shorter walk today in glorious sunshine, where today's temperature reached 15.9°C in the shade. However, despite the wonderful weather, I didn't see or hear any Spring migrants passing through.

So my highlights today were an Adder and Common Lizard, both in the butterfly reserve. Sadly no photos of either, but good to find something other than Wall Lizards and Slow-worms.

Other highlights were 5 butterfly species, a Dark-edged Bee-fly, plus two 7-Spot Ladybirds and a Dock Bug.
