To say it was cold would be an understatement and with that biting north-easterly it felt pretty raw out there this afternoon.
Main highlights were at least 8 Blackbirds feeding on the cotoneasters along Wakeham Railway Cuttings, where there was also a Chiffchaff and a Goldcrest.
Another Chiffchaff and Goldcrest were seen along Broadcroft Quarry Lane.
Along Bumpers Lane I came across a very lethargic Common Spotted Field Syrph hoverfly.
