Unfortunately it was a late afternoon walk, so unsurprisingly there wasn't too much about. However there were a couple of noticeable differences from previous days, in that there has been an increase in the numbers of Chaffinches and Blackbirds. Along the hedgerows and tracks I came across dozens of Chaffinches at 3 locations and it was similar theme with the Blackbirds.
A surprise find was a juvenile Slow-worm under one of the boards along my walk. With the temperature in single figures, I hadn't expected to see any.
Just the one butterfly, a Red Admiral again, this time along Broadcroft Quarry Lane.

Not a brilliant photo I know, but today was one of those rare occasions where you see the whole of Isle of Wight's west coastline.
