I spent most of the day at home doing a few household chores. But there was a bit of interest from the garden, with a mouse at the pond last night and during the day, the Great Tits busy feeding their youngsters in the nest box. Also noted, above the noise of the building site behind the cottage, was a Common Whitethroat singing.
