I put the moth trap out last night and this morning there were 6 Common Quakers and 2 Early Greys. Both new species for my Portland Moth List. Also in trap was an Ichneumon Wasp (Ophion variegatus) and a new one for my Portland List.

In The Garden Today
Another sunny day and the first and only migrant I saw, as I walked out into the back garden, was a lone Swallow.
So as not to bore everyone with the pictures of invertebrates I've already shown before, I will attempt to just add new species of invertebrates etc. However if I have a half decent photo of a species I've already seen I might add one or two of them.
So today's new species and firsts for my Portland list were a Crab Spider (Xysticus ulmi) and a Woodlouse (Porcellio spinicornis).
Other species new to the garden list were a male Orange-tip and a Large White Butterfly, plus a Dock Bug.
Here are a few images and videos from today:

A Dunnock on my neighbours Buddleia
Another Common Quaker which wasn't tempted inside the moth trap from last night.
Early Mining Bee (Andrena haemorrhoa)
My first Dock Bug in the garden. This was on the Cherry Tree.................

I'm hoping I've got this right a Crab Spider (Xysticus ulmi)
This is an unusual Woodlouse..............

Also found was this deceased Ashy Mining Bee.
