Another blustery cloudy day, which appears to have held up the Chiffchaffs from their northward migration with 2 in Penns Wood where there were also 2 Goldcrests, and at the back of the cove their were 3 more Chiffchaffs and a Firecrest.
On the beach just 3 Rock Pipits and a Pied Wagtail, which once again feigned to land and then flew off again, whilst out to sea there were a good dozen or so Gannets heading down towards The Bill.
On the way back home a small party of 4 Meadow Pipits flew over.

.......they were accompanied by two Goldcrests.
Also in Penns Wood a Tree Bumblebee on a Russian Comfrey.

.........the numbers have dropped right off as the gale force wind seems to have dispersed the Kelp Flies.
Out to sea a dozen or so Gannets.
The seas are quite rough......
.......but a bit quieter here on the east of the island

Last night I came across this Scarce Fungus Weevil, Platyrhinus resinosus in the house. Here are a few photos of it today, under daylight conditions.
