Wakeham

So after a long spell of dry weather, we are back to very windy and wet conditions.

For those that did brave the elements today, there were great birds to be seen on the island with both Radde's Warbler and Red-breasted Flycatcher putting in an appearance for the second day running.

Unfortunately I have to be sensible and avoid catching a cold or worse, as I can't afford to put off my open heart surgery again.

So as per norm, when I can't upload any daily sightings, here are a few images/videos from this day since 2017.

The overwintering Robin feeding on mealworms in the back garden.

A male Siskin in Pennsylvania Woods.

A male Stonechat on The Slopes at the Bill

A Turnstone on Stone Pier, Weymouth.

An Ivy Bee Colletes hederae

A Harlequin Ladybird Harmonia axyridis - form conspicua.
