A similar walk as yesterdays, with an extra excursion around the butterfly reserve, and The Cuttings given a miss.
Main highlights were very similar to yesterdays with 19 Chiffchaffs (seven up on yesterday), though 5 from today were around the Bump at the reserve, a spot I missed out yesterday. Of interest were 3 Goldcrests along Wakeham Railway Cuttings and a male Blackcap also on the butterfly reserve.
Birds noted flying overhead were 1 Skylark, several Swallows and two Meadow Pipits.
And to finish off 2 Greenfinches on the reserve, a finch which is bit of a scarcity on the island
