Old Quarry Lane, Wakeham Wildlife Site, Wakeham Railway Cuttings, Wakeham Railway Cuttings (east), Bumpers Lane, Silklake Quarry, Broadcroft Quarry Lane, Broadcroft Butterfly Reserve, Higher Horse Paddock, Lower Horse Paddock and Wakeham Meadows.

A similar walk as yesterdays, with an extra excursion around the butterfly reserve, and The Cuttings given a miss.

Main highlights were very similar to yesterdays with 19 Chiffchaffs (seven up on yesterday), though 5 from today were around the Bump at the reserve, a spot I missed out yesterday. Of interest were 3 Goldcrests along Wakeham Railway Cuttings and a male Blackcap also on the butterfly reserve.

Birds noted flying overhead were 1 Skylark, several Swallows and two Meadow Pipits.

And to finish off 2 Greenfinches on the reserve, a finch which is bit of a scarcity on the island
