It was a late walk around my patch this afternoon, which was a bit annoying as throughout the day, 2 Yellow-browed Warblers and a 1st Winter Red-backed Shrike had been sighted in the south of the island. Leaving it so late for my walk, does make me wonder what I missed locally from earlier today.
However it wasn't all gloom and doom, though the former was gloomy weather-wise, as I came across a very mobile flock of Chiffchaffs, Goldcrests, Great Tits and Blue Tits. This time though there were no Long-tailed Tits and Blackcaps present.
