Old Quarry Lane, Wakeham Meadows, Wakeham Wildlife Site and Easton Railway Cuttings

It was yet another very warm and sunny day, with some great highlights. The first being a Tree Pipit heading north, and 3 Swallows heading south!!

Other highlights were my first Small Blue butterfly in the railway cuttings, where there were also 3 Painted Lady's.

As for moths there were hundreds of Cocksfoot Moths (Glyphipterix simpliciella) either feeding in buttercup flowers or Smooth Hawk's-beard.
