Old Quarry Lane, Wakeham Meadows and Wakeham Wildlife Site.

It was another lovely day, with plenty of sunshine and more importantly some warmth. However the weather forecast for tomorrow is not looking so promising.

Highlights today were singles of Common Whitethroat, Blackcap and Chiffchaff in and around the meadow and wildlife site. Also noted was a small damselfly which unfortunately flew off before I could identify it.

And another insect which "escaped" before I could identify it properly looked very much like a Meadow Brown!!
