Well it appears we've skipped Spring and gone straight to Summer. Today was definitely the warmest it's been this year and it was pretty noticeable that there were many more insects about than of late. It's amazing what a bit of warm sunshine can do.
Wakeham Meadow starred again with a Reed Warbler this time along with 1 Common Whitethroat, a Blackcap and a Chiffchaff.
On the butterfly reserve highlights here were 5 Swallows heading up the island, 3 Common Whitethroat, a Lesser Whitethroat and a Blackcap
