It was a late evening walk, in the hope of seeing both Short-eared Owl and Barn Owl. I failed on both accounts, but at least recorded a Sparrowhawk which flew up onto a post in the field next to me and a Buzzard over Sweethill farm.
Other highlights were two Redwings in the field next to Helen's Field. My first on Portland this year.
