Wakeham

Beautiful blue skies and a couple of Buzzards soaring overhead. Dawn and I had a busy day laying paving slabs along the length of the back garden and were treated to a Robin singing at close quarters. There were two others also singing from the back gardens further up and further down from us.

As we were working in the back garden I came across a family of 5 young Slow Worms hibernating. Good to see that the pair I saw last Summer had a good season, hopefully there will many more around this Summer.

On the feeders as we walked back to the cottage a pair of Great Tits, a Goldfinch and Blue Tit.

One of the two Buzzards..........

.....soaring over Wakeham this afternoon.
