Ringstead

This afternoon Dawn and I made an off the island trip to a farm in Poxwell to get a bale of straw and on the way back we stopped off at Ringstead to see if there was anything about. In the field Here, there were 400+ gulls mainly Herring Gulls, with a few Black-headed and Mediterranean Gulls in amongst them. In fact the most vocal birds were the Meds with that really noticeable mew sound they make. To hear what they sound like click Here.

I took a lot of photos in two "passes" from left to right and a video. There are lot of photos. Please feel free to let me know if there are other gulls in the flock other than Herring, Black-headed and Meds.
