Wakeham

I'm getting there slowly in the back garden, with the weeding, pruning and general tidying up. It's always the way when you get back off your hols, but there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

Once the garden is up to spec, events will turn to the three sheds which need shifting before the foundation goes down for the next venture.

There were at least 3 Common Nettle-tap moths (Anthophila fabriciana) in the garden.

A Garden Bumblebee (Bombus hortorum) collecting pollen from this Yellow Iris (Iris pseudacorus) growing in the "Bath Pond".

This is the first Honey Bee (Apis mellifera) I have seen on the Crown Daisies (Glebionis coronaria)

The gale force winds of yesterday certainly battered the Crown Daisies (Glebionis coronaria) in the wildflower patch. Well at least the insects don't have to travel far from one flower to the next.
