It was my day out today with a visit to Southampton General Hospital, to have a few tests prior to having another replacement heart valve fitted at the end of June beginning of July. I decided to use public transport and was quite surprised that it only cost me £28 return on the train.
En route I spotted a Common Buzzard at Wareham, a Red Kite over Brockenhurst (my first Kite this year) and a Peregrine Falcon over Southampton Central Station. Elsewhere it seemed like there were Little Egrets at nearly every waterway we passed.
