West Cliff and Reap Lane Barn

It was another visit to Reap Lane and a short walk along the West Cliffs. The weather remains dry and very sunny, but that strong easterly was pretty raw.

Main highlights this afternoon were 20+ Meadow Pipits, a lot less than yesterday, 6 Pied Wagtails, 2 White Wagtails, 4 Wheatear and a Chiffchaff.

A male Kestrel flying over West Weares

A male Pied Wagtail in the horse paddock next the barn.

To the north of the barn in the cattle field was what I believe to be a White Wagtail

And here is another possible White Wagtail in the horse field just south of the barn. Glad to be corrected!!

A female Wheatear.......

......and a third male in the horse field south of the barn.

In the grounds of the Reap Lane Barn was this partially hidden Chiffchaff.

And just a few of 80+ House Sparrows having a dust bath in the lane.

Hmm. I'm glad to report that the young lad was later seen walking back down Reap Lane.
