Ferrybridge Sandflats, Portland Castle Beach and Portland Castle

Having returned from Weymouth on a shopping trip I dropped into Ferrybridge, followed by Portland Castle Beach and then the castle grounds.

Main highlights were 2 Little Egrets and 2 Sandwich Terns at Ferrybridge, where there were also 10 Sand Martins and 5 Swallows.

Next stop was Portland Castle Beach, where there was just a single Oystercatcher on the main waste outlet pipe.

And the last stop was the grounds of Portland Castle where there were singles of Willow Warbler, Goldcrest and Spotted Flycatcher.
