After a couple of miserable days, it was good to see the sun out again and another opportunity to finish prepping the wildflower meadow for next Spring. And who was there to join me, but the "over-wintering" Robin, which at times was feeding on small earthworms I was unearthing at my feet. There was certainly a lot of trust going on.
Other highlights were 2 Meadow Pipits overhead and a Chiffchaff/Willow Warbler calling from a couple of gardens down, plus my first Rosemary Beetle (Chrysolina americana) this year.
