Old Quarry Lane, Wakeham Meadows, Wakeham Railway Cuttings and Bumpers Lane, Broadcroft Quarry Lane, Broadcroft Butterfly Reserve and Lower Horse Paddock

After the morning rain had drifted north, we were them shrouded in low cloud for the rest of the day. A late afternoon walk was cut short as a fine drizzle began to fall.

The only highlights on a dismal day were 2 Common Whitethroats, a Blackcap and 3 Chiffchaffs.

However it wasn't all gloom and doom as I found a Spotted Cranefly (Nephrotoma appendiculata) to add to my Portland List.
