Wakeham

Unfortunately it was a day at home, nursing a sore back. It appeared a couple of days ago, and doesn't seem to want to go anytime soon.

So it was an afternoon pottering around in the back garden, planting out some new roses and sorting out a trellis for the everlasting Sweet-peas. The latter have come back well, with dozens of new shoots heading up the fence.

Despite the really sunny conditions, there still appears to be very few insects about, with just singles of Large White and Holly Blue, three species of bee and three species of hoverfly.
