Best laid plans and all that. It was a morning tidying up the garden, followed by a trip to the recycling centre, and what should have been a walk with Ted straight afterwards.
Unfortunately the weather had other ideas, and what was a fairly dry start to the morning, ended with wintry showers for the rest of the day. So sadly, there was no walk today.

2020: Church Ope Cove and Penns Wood - 3 Chiffchaff, 3 Firecrest, 7 Wall Lizard, 7+ Buff-tailed Bumblebee (Bombus terrestris), a Mining Bee (Andrena scotica), 3 Tapered Drone Fly (Eristalis pertinax) and a Bloody-nosed Beetle (Timarcha tenebricosa)
2021: Church Ope Cove and Penns Wood - Wall Lizard, 1 Large Tortoiseshell, Honey Bees (Apis mellifera), Buff-tailed Bumblebee (Bombus terrestris), White-tailed Bumblebee (Bombus lucorum), Common Dronefly (Eristalis tenax) and Hairy-eyed Syrphus (Syrphus torvus)
2022: Portland Bill - 11 Purple Sandpiper and a Skylark singing
