I don't seem to be having much luck with the weather, especially today. It started off dry and sunny, but by the time I got to the cove the rain began to fall. So it was quick exit and back home before Ted and I got too wet. Annoyingly the sun came out again about an hour after we got home.
Main highlight was a Grey Heron landing in the grounds of Pennsylvania Castle again. There must be a pond in the grounds. Other highlights were a Chiffchaff singing and a Firecrest both seen at the back of the cove.

Primroses in the grounds of St Andrew's Church. Fortunately a few plants survived the intense strimming here.
It's a real shame, but someone was a bit over enthusiastic with the Strimmer and the Mint is no more.....
................Hopefully it will grow back and I'll get to see the Mint Moths (Pyrausta aurata) back here this year.
