Old Quarry Lane, Wakeham Meadows, Wakeham Railway Cuttings, Pennsylvania Castle Wood, St Andrew's Church, Church Ope Cove, Church Ope Cove Wood, Penn's Weare, Penn's Copse, Rufus Castle, Bumpers Lane, Broadcroft Quarry Lane, Broadcroft Butterfly Reserve and Lower Horse Paddock

A day without rain hooray, but it was still pretty windy, though I'm not complaining as I came across my first Yellow-browed Warbler of the year in Broadcroft Quarry Lane and 2 Firecrests in Pennsylvania Castle Woods. 

Other highlights were:

5 Goldcrest - 1 Wakeham Meadow, 2 Wakeham Railway Cuttings and 2 Broadcroft Quarry Lane
50+ Linnet - Lower Horse Paddock

A female Sparrowhawk powering over the lower horse paddock. Or is it a female Merlin!! Hmm

An adult Great Black-backed Gull

One of the 15 Rock Pipits at the cove this afternoon.

A 1st winter Pied Wagtail

In the hedgerow where I photographed this Chiffchaff in Broadcroft Quarry Lane was also my first Yellow-browed Warbler for the year. Sadly no photo of the YBW.

In Pennsylvania Castle Wood were these two.......

..........Firecrests. I can see you!!
