Having found out that both a Pallas's Warbler and Wryneck were still present after two days at the Obs, I thought it would be great to pop down there to see them. But as usual it was a case of, "you should have been here earlier". No surprises there.
Still it was a very enjoyable walk, albeit in gale force winds again and my main highlights were a Merlin, dozens of Kittiwakes out to sea, a Wheatear, a Cetti's Warbler (singing - sub-song), 2 Blackcap and 4 Chiffchaff

A very distant shot of a Merlin sat on a post in the Crown Estate Fields.
A Kestrel sat on top of the Quarry. Probably the reason why the Wryneck was a no show.
